A bar, laughter, then unconsciousness. Kim is found lying on the cold bathroom tiles by her friends. In reverse, Kim’s night unfolds. What began as a festive evening turns into a nightmare as she becomes a victim of drink spiking.

Aucéane Roux
Aucéane Roux is a filmmaker and screenwriter based in Montreal, Canada. Her filmography includes short documentary films that have been acclaimed in festivals, such as The Southern Wind (2021), winner of the Radio-Canada Emerging Filmmaker Award at RIDM, and Washed Away (2024), notably selected at Hot Docs. Guided by a sensitive perspective, her work explores social and human issues. Hell of a Night (2026) is her first live-action short film.
