Kristina Wagenbauer

Kristina Wagenbauer is a Montreal-based filmmaker. Her films have screened at more than 150 festivals, including Locarno, the Festival du nouveau cinéma, and Oberhausen. She co-wrote and directed Sashinka, her first feature film, followed by the documentary Babushka, both nominated for the Canadian Screen Awards and the Prix du cinéma québécois. She also directed two episodes of the Swiss series La vie devant for RTS. Her most recent short film, Leo on the Wire, is beginning its festival run, while she develops several feature films, including Superluminal and Santa Barbara.
