Emmanuelle Lacombe
Originally from Bellechasse, Quebec, and now based in Montreal, Emmanuelle Lacombe directs short films that have screened at festivals such as VIFF, Regard, and Fantasia. Passionate about both creative work and industry challenges, she authored a 2024 thesis on the power dynamics of creators in the digital era, which earned her the ACC-CRTC Excellence Award. As an independent writer and producer, she founded Les coudées franches that same year and directed Waiting (All the Time) in 2025.
